The Problem
A quilting and crafting retreat center in Clinton, MO needed a website that could showcase the retreat experience, handle booking workflows for events, and reach a niche audience of quilters and crafters who plan trips months in advance.
My Approach
Built a complete retreat website with booking workflow integration, photo gallery showcasing the venue and past events, and responsive design optimized for the target demographic. Also shot a promotional drone video using a DJI Mavic Air to capture aerial footage of the property and surrounding countryside.

What I Learned
Small business clients need more than code. The drone video ended up being one of the most effective marketing assets. Understanding the full picture of what a client needs, not just the technical scope, is what separates a vendor from a partner.
